COFFS HARBOUR INTERNATIONAL BUSKERS FESTIVAL
Most of the shows are within the CBD in Harbour Drive or the City Square. Harbour Drive is the old High St - see below (CBD only), a beautifully refurbished streetscape with sails covering certain parts of the street. It's under these sails that we run the daytime busking. Day shows run Sat 29, Tues 2, Wed 3, Thurs 4, Friday 5th, Sat 6th in City Square just outside the St George Bank from 10am.
On Wednesday 3rd it is the "all day spectacular" with Harbour Drive closed 9am - 4pm - Buskers - kids rides - roving entertainment - amateur street buskers & musical buskers - spruikers outside shops & more. Australia's Got Talent will also be in town looking for acts for next year's series. During the breaks check out the specials in nearby shops.
It is a good idea to bring some sunscreen, hat and your sense of humour. Be early to ensure your spot. You may be asked to participate , feel free to decline if you wish.
You will hear this expression many times during the festival. We encourage you to give generously to the Buskers' hat at the end of the show. Remember when they go home to their homes, we hope they will say how generous Coffs people were.
